Virgin Active clubs are promoted as social venues that offer a complete range of activities and facilities. We were welcomed as we entered the gym and the staff were attentive and very helpful.

They explained about the wellbeing approach and their philosophy for catering for all - showing us the cafes, free internet facilities, computer games and music listening posts.

The facilities were superb - using Technogym, you simply insert your 'key' and it sets up the machine with your settings. There was also a great cross section of older and younger users at the time we went - not somethgin you always see.
