The Stillman Water Diet QWL-Diet was originally published in August 1968,according to the paperback copy that I have.

Conflicting reports off of the web state that it was published in 1961, by Irwin Maxwell Stillman Water Diet and Samm Sinclair Baker, (who later co-wrote the Complete Diet' with Herman Tarnower and, barely credited, Jean Harris).
