French diet guidelines

The French really never have much advice to give us in North America.

However, recently all this changed when one French Chef introduced the French diet to the North Americaar

The diet was invented by Ms Veuve Cliquot who came to America and quickly realized the problem.

She herself put on nearly 10 pound in weight and faulted our Super Size It diet.

Of course, Ms Veuve if you eat chocolates, pizza, hamburgers and live the good life that we have in America, sure you will put on weight.

Soon, Ms Veuve departed for France and decided to add her two cents worth to the already congested market of how to lose weight diet plans.

In the French diet, Veuve does make the plan very simple and enjoyable.

You eat a little of everything, enjoy the food, east slow and take pleasure in the experience of chewing the food- for example when you eat a French fry make it last 20-40 minutes.

There is nothing else with the diet.

Nope, you do not have to count calories, weight yourself, do not buy a mirror, (but most do anyway) and wait till you buy the next set of clothes.

Free weight tracking chart - The diet is great because you can eat any cuisine there is none of that eating only crap whole grains, cabbage or bread and butter all day.

If you want to eat a chocolate, sure, go ahead but make sure it lasts a whole week, or preferably a whole month.

Raw French Fries Recipe - French diet foods

Serves 4

Fries
4 kohlrabis
1/2 cups cold pressed olive or hemp seed oil
2 teaspoons curcumin
1 teaspoon sea salt

Cut the kohlrabis like french fries (julienne). You can do this with a knife, but it's easiest with a mandoline. Put the kohlrabis in a bowl.
French diet foods - Put the oil, curcumin (kurkuma) and salt in a bowl.

Mix. Pour over the fries. Let sit for at least 10 min. Then drain and scoop onto some paper towels (to take off excess oil).

French diet foods - Ketchup
3 tomatoes
3 pieces sun dried tomatoes
5 dates (or 1/2 teaspoon stevia and 4 more sun dried tomatoes)
1 squeeze lemon juice
1/2 cup pure water

Put all ingredients in a blender. On the bottom of the blender the water, lemon juice and tomatoes, on top the dried tomatoes and dates. Blend well. This will be easier if you leave the sun dried tomatoes sit in water for a few hours.
